  • Team Development: Mentor and supervise nurses and care staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining high performance across the clinical team.
  • Person-Centred Care: Oversee the creation and maintenance of personalised care plans, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with residents' needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registered Nurse (Adult) qualification with an active NMC pin.
  • Proven experience as a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, or Unit Manager within a nursing home or similar clinical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, audits, and clinical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • A track record of implementing improvements based on audit findings.
  • Desirable: A management qualification and experience in supporting individuals with dementia or complex clinical needs.

Day-to-Day

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading clinical handovers and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Conducting audits and implementing action plans to maintain high standards of care.
  • Supervising and mentoring the clinical team to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Liaising with families and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for residents.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining inspection readiness.
  • Providing hands-on clinical care as needed to support the team and residents.

Benefits

We offer a comprehensive package, including:

  • Pension scheme and healthcare benefits.
  • Funded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.
  • A supportive and values-driven working environment.
