Location: Petersfield, Hampshire
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 DOE + Up to 25% Bonus
Hours: Full Time | 40 Hours per Week
Contract: Permanent

Pivotal People is exclusively recruiting an experienced Registered Care Home Manager for an established elderly residential care home in the Petersfield area. This isn't a struggling home needing a turnaround. Significant progress has already been made in raising care standards, and there's an established team delivering excellent care. Now we're looking for a Registered Manager with the experience, personality and commercial drive to take the home to the next level.

We want someone who sees a care home as more than just a building providing care. Someone who can make it a genuine part of the local community, build relationships with families, healthcare professionals and commissioners, and create a home that people actively choose. You'll have the autonomy to lead, the backing of an experienced senior management team and the opportunity to make a real difference.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the home and maintaining excellent standards of person-centred elderly care.
• Driving occupancy, generating enquiries and converting admissions.
• Building strong relationships with local authority commissioners, hospitals, social workers and referral partners.
• Making the home an active, recognised and valued part of its local community.
• Developing, motivating and retaining a high-performing care team.
• Managing budgets, staffing costs and overall commercial performance.
• Maintaining CQC compliance and working towards an Outstanding rating.
• What We're Looking For

We're looking for an established Registered Care Home Manager with:

• At least five years' Registered Manager experience in elderly care.
• Experience managing residential care homes with 40+ beds.
• A proven track record of achieving and maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings.
• Strong experience in occupancy growth, admissions and local authority commissioning relationships.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and operational performance.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or equivalent.

Just as importantly, you'll be visible, approachable and enthusiastic about building relationships.
